You did all the work. We all took a seat and enjoyed the show. I noticed your name on an e-mail thanking you for your efforts on behalf of the Herk community. Awesome. Keep it up. We need your energy. Also make sure to keep an eye on MCATA as well. They are looking for fresh blood!

Hi Alan,
I thought I sent you an e-mail back on the 26th when I joined but I think I may have sent it to myself. It is strange, I found your site on the 26th of July....44 years to the day my feet hit those yellow foot prints!..LOL. I like your memorial page and remember quite well the day Pumphery was killed...more so how hard Doc;s Moon and Fitzgerald tried to save him. Great site.

Before I was with HMMS37 in El Toro, Caif. that supported VMGR352 so worked on them there. Our aircraft were C47, C117, C54 and some T1A jets that we gave to the resurves. I was a line electrian and was flying mostly on C47, and C117s. When I returned stateside I was expecting to go to VMGR252 CherryPoint but the Corps sent me to MCAS New River to crew on their C117. I was back about 2 months and all the choppers took off for Hatti leaving 4 of us there as we had just returned from Nam. So to kill time we hand washed with rags and spray bottles the C117 and did a hanger check.

I was guiding Capt. James thru some stuff on TWS. He was a "Magnet ass" ,he admitted that while going thru CC's, Once with "Bud" at KheSahn. The pic of the KD at KheSahn with the fuel pukeing outta SB wing, He was the Co Pilot. try to figure out Buno on that one, I'm in the process of going thru CC's (again).

I then guided him over here, you ought to be able to get some stories for him for sure.
