Thank you for posting the article. It shows that we were and are the workhorse of the fleet. Many of the same things occurred during my time in the '130 community.('88-'95) Lots of hours and no love. ;-)

I was in 152 in '67 and was discharged in '69 when this Leatherneck was published--don't know any of the guys who appeared in the article.

This picture of Sgt Brown. The caption reads, one of the aircraft mechanics assigned to VMGR-152's home base on Okinawa, Was he in the Engine Shop at Fatuma ? I was working at H&MS, C-130, Engine Shop, at Fatnum, From Spring of 1969 to Spring of 1970. It was not in VMGR-152 squadron, as the Engine Shop was at VMGR-352, at El Toro, where I transferred from. I do remember a fellow mechanic stationed at the shop, who was from Ohio, I think, and he was a Black Man.
