Barber's Pt Engine Change
In progress on an engine change on 014. I was in charge and didn't check the CG on the sling. Here we are getting ready to put the QEC down on tires to change the CG. Disclaimer; no equipment was damaged or personell harmed in this process.

Let me clear things up a bit. I never mentioned that this was at Barber's Pt , Hawaii. Coast Guard had the only C-130 capable hangar across the field. This wasn't my first engine change. I neglected to check the CG on the sling before making the lift.

This was summer 1979 and I was with 352. We weren't known as "Raiders" yet.

By the way, the only place we had to do this was in the Coast Guard hangar on the other side of the field from the transient line

What squadron were you in at the time of the photo?
