Probably did, I was getting photos from everywhere back when this site was just getting started. I can't remember where I got most of them But Thanks Don. and that's the only time I've ever seen that forward cargo door opened...

This is the same a/c I would fly in during 1980. At some point, the cargo doors must have been permanently closed because I can never recall an 'F' model with that feature. The planes also look to be in natural metal finish, when later that would be painted gray.


Most had straps over door opening seams. This Bird was lost '68 in head-on w/ F4B All Hands + F4 crew.
