About Me
I started with VMGR-252 in spring of 1967. I was initially assigned to the powerplant shop, but after surgery for appendicitis I was reassigned to the prop shop because of personnel shortages there. During my time in the prop shop it was run by Gunney Toca, SSgt. Landolfi, and toward the end my tour by SSgt. Wasilowsky. I spent a large amount of the time with 252 on second shift doing post flight inspection and repair of props, GTCs and ATMs. Post a CommentOops! The words you entered did not match the given text. I left there Sept '66 was permanent personell there in Testing and the ADJA School, still had the old Sabre Jets then. Was MGySbt Gill Mora still in charge there then? Al and I got to be good friends at the Point before I got out 8/68.
What school did you go to and time frame @ NAS Millington? I know Al Toca but not sure if it was at 152 during '66- "67 or with H&MS 27 in 68 I was GTC's at both outfits.
