Colonel Meyersburg was the Commanding Officer of VMJ-252 on two seperate occasions.
First from 7-APR-1944 to 31-MAY-1944 and his second tour as C.O. from 21-JUL-1944 to 1-AUG-1944. He also served in the Royal Canadian Air Force and the Royal Air Force of England. A veteran of World War II, Korea, and Vietnam. His responsibility of command was 67 years ago, yet his memory is not forgotten.
